For
installation of the connectivity matrices library, make sure you have
the R and Rcmd paths set up correctly in the system environment
variables. For example, for an R program of version 2.14 installed on a
Windows XP Professional computer, the system environment variable path
should like: “C:\Program Files\R\R-2.14.0\bin;C:\Program
Files\R\R-2.14.0\bin\i386;” (no quotation marks). Please remember no
space is allowed between any two input paths. A very simple way to test
whether you computer has the R paths configured correctly, just open a
DOS environment and type: Rcmd. If it lists the commands that can be
used with Rcmd, then you are ready to install the library. Otherwise,
stop here until you can have this issue being resolved. Sometimes, you
might need to restart your computer or log off your computer to make the
environment variable settings effective.
